In bible-literacy.com, we'll publish articles regularly about how different verses or events from the Holy Bible are generally (mis)interpreted.
We'll also share the most important part of what God actually intends to teach us through those verses and events.
This is just a small attempt to help the world taste the goodness of Christ. His Word is all we have to overcome the darkness of this world.
ABOUT
I'm Dinesh Murugappan from India. I've started this website to help people understand the heart of Jesus Christ, by interpreting the Bible in the right way.
When reading the Bible, we easily tend to misinterpret the meaning or even twist it to our favor subconsciously. At least I did a few years back!
One quick example is Jesus's instruction about loving our enemies.
Jesus never said love those who love you (or agree with you) as yourself. He simply instructed us to love even our enemies, which means we must love all people, without applying our own conditions to God's instruction!
But do we really love our enemies (the toughest people to love!) or we give excuses for not doing so? If we give excuses (like I did before), we'll deceive ourselves, despite reading the Bible.
There are 100s of such examples where we misinterpret and build wrong beliefs about God (or His words) in our mind, even without our knowledge.
In this website, I'll keep sharing my learnings on what the Bible taught me about the heart of Jesus Christ.
